Maan Shakti started its journey from Kolkata, the City of Joy. Since the day of inception, our visionary leadership has realized that growth is life. Over the years, we practised a gradual expansion to protect our core value system in the early days. The strong roots are difficult to separate. We ardently overcame many challenges, hurdles, and obstacles to establish our culture, integrity, and ethics. In the first phase of our strategic expansion, we explored the industrial landscape of the eastern region. Today, our headquarter is located in Kolkata. We have expanded our presence to the northern region of West Bengal. Siliguri is another strategic location of MSPL, facilitating effortless communication with states in the farther eastern regions of India.
We also started operating in north-eastern states, such as Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Mizoram, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Tripura, and Arunachal Pradesh. Maan Shakti's successful operations in these regions have allowed the company to access raw materials, skilled resources, and unexplored markets. MSPL's operations in Assam are highly significant, and within just a few years of expansion, it became a leading brand in TMT bars. Silchar, Guwahati, Dibrugarh, and Barpeta are the locations that helped us explore potential demand for TMT bars and build a strong footprint.
Last but not least, our presence in North and Western India has made us a national brand. With the gradual growth, we faced different challenges in competing, accessing resources, and more. Our successful operations in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Punjab are glorifying. Our strategic extension connecting East and West strengthens the bond of cultures, diversity, and unity. We are proud to be one of many.
